How many different uses can you think of for a Scotch Brite Pad? They are so wonderful in so many differnet ways. You know I like to use them to get at that hard to get out dirt on the lineolum floor, but have you ever thought to use them in the shower?
Take your favorite shower cleaner, I default to Comet, and apply as usual. This time, take a Scotch Brite pad and scrub the soap buildup. It will amaze you how much easier it is to remove with the help of this little wonder!
Anyone else have tips or tricks?

Oven Cleaner Substitute
One trick my mom does is to buy the degreaser you get at the auto parts store, and use it to clean the oven. It saves money since you can buy a whole gallon of degreaser for less than a can of oven cleaner, plus you avoid the smelly fumes! She sprays it on, lets it sit and then it just washes off with a damp rag! Maybe now I'll clean my oven a little more often! :-)

Diapers
Not everyone knows that cloth diapers haven't gone away. They are very much still around and can be a great way to save money. They make sprayers you can attach to the potty to spray off the yucks and they even have "all in one" diapers that work just like a disposable so the only difference is you dump, then wash instead of throw away. Do a quick internet search on "cloth diapers" and you'll see how much variety is out there.
I'm in the process of switching over to cloth to help save money with two in diapers. I started by buying some Gerber prefolds and have been using the disposable diapers as diaper covers so I only go through one or two a day (disposables, that is), then I'll use my diaper budget money to buy some cloth covers and I'll be all set. It took me a while to convince myself I could do it, but it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. You can get a package of prefolds relatively inexpensive so you can "try" cloth diapering before you commit to switch by using your disposables as covers. If you decide it's not your thing, you can always use the prefolds for rags!

Cleaning Products
Is there one cleaning product that you can't live without? Is there something you have found that goes everywhere and does everything? What do you do to help trim time off of your daily cleaning?

Baby Food
I always knew you could make your own baby food and save money, but I thought it was very time consuming and it would just be easier to buy the food. I have found an easy way to make some of my own baby food and save money. I buy canned fruit, store brand, the kind with no sugar added, drain the juice and dump it into my little food processor, blend and we're good to go! No extra cooking or preparation needed!
I also bought a yam and baked it, then mashed it up and froze it into "blobs" on a sheet of foil and stored in a freezer bag. They were perfect portions. You can also use your ice cube trays to freeze fruits and veggies into manageable portions, then you just need to pull out a couple cubes, defrost and serve!
Do you have any other things you have done to make your own baby food?
